Greetings From South America, Pt. 2...
Greetings from Rio de Janiero,
Lake Titcaca was pretty cool, but unfortunately we had to leave for Lima a night early because my Uncle was struggling with the altitude (the lake is located 12,000 feet above sea level), and listening to him struggle to sleep I didn´t blame him.
Fortunately, things worked out well for us. We were supposed to fly into Lima early the next morning anyway in order to transfer to a flight to Brazil. Getting into Lima earlier and reducing the next day´s travel time was a plus.
We got into Rio late last night without any hitch. Today, my Uncle and I went and saw the Sugar Loaf and Corcovado. Unfortunately, mother nature was uncooperative as it was foggy and overcast, so you couldn´t see much of anything. So alas, there will be few if any vista pictures of Rio from this trip...
The kicker is that as my Uncle and I chilled out and drank beers at one of the Beach Kiosks on Copacabana Beach, the weather cleared sufficiently enough that if we had gone to both locations in the afternoon, we would have probably had no problems seeing anything! No worries though: the weather was pretty nice and it was pretty cool chilling out watching life on the beach...Anyhow, tomorrow we are doing a tour of the old city, then on Tuesday we fly to Iguazu Falls.

Hey, I suppose the cloudiness is all the more reason for you to eventually go back to Rio someday!
Oh I can't wait for the pictures
@TheCheshireGrins - True That!
@MoparMessiah - Unfortunately, I did not take those sort of pictures. To be honest, the Beaches were not very busy the two days I was there. Sunday was Mother´s Day (which is celebrated in Brazil) and Monday was a work day.
Haha! I wasn't talking about "those" types of pictures. I want to see the breath taking landscape pictures.
